What does LED mean?

LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. An LED emits light as a result of electricalluminescence, also known as ‘cold light’ because, unlike traditional incandescent bulbs, light is not produced by heating ametal fiber.

On the other hand, the diode emits light, flowing through two specially coated silicone semiconductors. This is one of the most energy-efficient ways to produce light.

The LED consists of solid materials without moving parts and is often formed into transparent plastic. This ensures high durability. When the LED is on, it emits almost zero heat. This reduces the problem of cooling electronic parts.

Thanks to LED technology, it is possible to create screens with areas counted in tens of square meters, which can be installed both indoors and outdoors. The multitude of types of LED panels and the use of specialized digital signage software gives almost unlimited possibilities of creating visual effects. Use the storefront, do not obscure the light

If we want to create a screen with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 px) from P4 modules, then we will achieve a screen with a size of about 7 x 4 m.

If we want to get a full HD screen (1920 x 1080 px) from P10 modules, then we will achieve a screen with a size of about 19 x 11 m.

External LED screens/Indoor LED SCREENS

Outdoor LED screens are resistant to extreme temperatures and moisture, so they are used outdoors, so there is no risk that the LED screen will be flooded or damaged by very high or ‘minus’ temperatures. Indoor LED screens are used indoors where weather conditions do not affect the operation of the equipment.

Brightness of LED screens

The brighter the screen, the better its visibility in difficult (bright) conditions. 1000 cd is sufficient brightness even for leds placed in a space with a mezzanine. In order for the LED screen exposed to the outside to be visible even on cloudy days, it is required that its brightness be at the level of 2500 cd

Pixel Pitch

This is the distance between the diodes (pixels). The smaller the pixel pitch parameter, the higher the resolution.

Indoor screens are used indoors where weather conditions do not affect the operation of the equipment.
